Team building and mini conferences at the Rolling M Ranch
As the ranch is remote from all distractions, a great variety of organizations find it an ideal venue for team building, mini- conferences and training seminars.
The Rolling M is almost an equal distance from Gauteng, KZN and the Free State making it a convenient meeting place.
Up to 15 delegates can be comfortably accommodated in the Farmhouse and Cottages, while Ukuthula bush camp is the ideal venue for 'Roughing it - in comfort'.
The Log cabin and Thatched 'Lapa' (recreation area) at the Bush Camp, create a spirit of camaraderie, and together with the challenge of the awe inspiring Foofy (Cable) Slide, lasting bonds are forged.
Each team building or mini conference group is specially catered for and activities and menus are planned as requested.
Battle strategies based on Anglo Boer war skirmishes are used as examples for strategic planning, while team spirit is generated during our famous Round ups.
We use Western (cowboy) Saddles for comfort and our horses have justly earned their reputation. Under our guidance even a complete novice will be loping along in no time at all.
Fresh farm food and sparkling clean air with no distractions ensure the success of the exercise. The Exhilarating Horse trails and exciting tube rides down the river for diversion make this a unique getaway.

Hillsides ablaze with aloes at the Rolling M Ranch
Aloes in August - a sight to behold! The hillsides are ablaze with the brilliant orange red flowers of the Aloe Ferox which, when the light is correct, seem to glow as if on fire. Hundreds of birds descend on the blooms to suck the sweet nectar and the buzzing of the bees fills the air.
We have carved kilometres of hiking and horse riding trails wandering through the groves of aloes and, as some can reach to a height of 4 meters, tower above - even when you are on horseback.
