Ukuthula Bush Camp

Ukuthula Bush Camp

Sleeps 16
Self Catering
Minimum 2 nights

Ukuthula (“peace” in Zulu). This rustic camp snuggled below the lushly wooded hills is an experience.  It is on the banks of the river, between the 2 gorges.  The river widens out into a very deep pool.
There is a choice to sleep in the log cabin, or pitch a tent as there is ample space on the lawn.
The Cabin sleeps up to 16, bedding and linen is supplied: mattresses, duvets and pillows.
There is a cooking lapa, and both indoor and outdoor fire places – with wood for your use. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, lights and lanterns, a gas refrigerator and cooking plates are provided. Ablutions include hot showers and a long drop toilet.
The breath-taking “Foofy” cable is available for adrenalin junkies – you start in the mountain, and drop into the middle of the river – no one has ever touched the river bed!
